The Team
MaryRose Reaston, Ph.D., CEO
Dr. Reaston has devoted her professional career to developing better healthcare and educational objectives. She is an expert in diagnostic techniques for the evaluation and management of soft tissue injuries. She is a proven industry leader in bringing new technologies to market, establishing regulatory, legal, payer and medical acceptance. She has a MA, Doctorate in Psychology, and certification in Electromyography & Clinical Neurophysiology from Harvard Medical School. Early in her career, she taught Research Methodology at UCLA School of Public Health to Medical and Public Health Students. She has testified before OSHA and Congress on Advanced and Proper Electrodiagnostic Techniques. She is an Expert Witness in Electrodiagnostics and considered an industry expert in Workers’ Compensation, Telehealth, Wellness, Medical Technology, Healthcare and ADA. Dr. Reaston’s testimony has changed case law in repetitive stress injuries. Serving as CEO and COO, she has led companies to become highly profitable global medical service providers. Dr. Reaston is a published author and creator and holder of several US and International Patents. Dr. Reaston is passionate about giving everyone access to Health and Wellness and is also the Co-founder of Yoga Your Way, an International Wellness Platform. She has been honored as being a Risk Innovator and has received several awards for developing proprietary telemedicine and wellness programs.
Naiyer Imam, M.D., Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Imam is serving as the Chairman and CEO of First Medicine inc. In 1998, Dr Imam co-founded HealthCite, raising 10 million dollars to develop this WebMD competitor. In 2000, Dr. Imam co-founded PanteQ Corporation, a software development company with offices in Boston and New Delhi, India. In 2002, Dr. Imam founded MedicalOasis, an imaging center corporation and now has a chain of imaging centers in Virginia, Nebraska and Mississippi and an ambulatory surgical center in Virginia. In 2003, Dr. Imam founded American Teleradiology which grew to be one of the larger Teleradiology corporations and merged with Nighthawk Radiology Services in September of 2005, with the combined company going public in February 2006 with a market cap of $600-$700 million (NASDAQ: NHWK). In 2006, Dr. Imam became an executive producer of an international film, Real Premonition. Dr. Imam has served as an Assistant Professor of Radiology at the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions. Dr. Imam has served as a medical director for Nighthawk Radiology Services and chairman of Medical Imaging Specialists, a radiology corporation in Virginia and chairman of PanteQ, an international medical software corporation. Dr. Imam is well published in the medical and radiological literature, having written landmark papers in AIDS research in Medicine and has developed pioneering software in radiology. Dr. Imam is a physician, computer scientist and businessman. Dr. Imam received a Bachelors of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science as well as a medical degree at an accelerated program from Brown University. Dr. Imam obtained a Masters of Science degree in Biostatistics at Harvard University. Dr, Imam completed his radiology training at USF in Florida and Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions in Baltimore, MD.
Phil Reaston, CTO
Phil is an experienced hands-on CTO, IT Architect and developer. Over the past 23 years Phil has been CTO of several startup medical diagnostics companies. He has lead the design development of software and hardware for a medical diagnostics using both wired and wireless sensors. He has built out the backend systems for the sensors using various AWS tools and technologies and has lead R&D efforts on both sensors and has experience researching AI functions for signal processing. Phil has experience working on implementing HIPAA and in preparing FDA 510k submissions. He is an inventor on several patents in this space. Before concentrating his efforts in the healthcare space, he was a consultant for IBM in their Enterprise Application Integration practice working on the integration of large systems across diverse Operating Systems. He is fluent in all aspects of software development and multiple programming languages (latterly Python and C++).
Sultan Maalik, COO
Sultan is a serial entrepreneur with a diverse resume of business experience in Teleradiology, Radiology Imaging Centers, Home Care, Adult Social Day Care, International business, Retail, and wholesale businesses.As chairman and CEO of European International, Mr. Maalik made a name for himself in the purchasing, processing, and manufacturing of precious stones and Jewelry, while coordinating world-wide offices in New York, India, Brazil, Portugal, and the Caribbean Island of St. Thomas. In 2006, Mr. Maalik co-founded and was a Board member in Medial Marshal Networks, Inc., a multimedia content management company focused primarily on healthcare and education. Media Marshal Networks, Inc. was started with capital from founders and investors in the USA. Operations began with a 1.2 million dollars investment. In 2007 Mr. Maalik Co-founded, is a Board Member and COO of a Dubai, UAE based chain of imaging Centers, Gulf Center for Advanced Imaging, FZ, LLC. Operations for this imaging center began with a raise of 1.5 million dollars of investments from founders and investors located in the USA. Mr. Maalik co-founded and was a Board Member of Advanced Medical Imaging and Teleradiology, LLC a Delaware based company focused on Teleradiology. The company was formed in 2010, a USA based company serving clients in 39 States in the United States of America. Advanced Medical Imaging and Teleradiology was sold in 2015.Mr. Maalik is currently managing a chain of Diagnostic Imaging Centers located in New York City. Mr. Maalik has owned a Home Health Aide company and is currently a partner in an Adult Social Day Care Center. Mr. Maalik is currently the COO of a New York Based Super Group, Orion Medical, PC. And has co-founded Orion Health, Inc.
